The Orava Museum is situated in the Žilina selfgoverning region in Slovakia and takes care of the 8 national cultural monuments. Orava Castle is the most significant monument of the museum and it is one of the most visited castles in the Slovakia. Unique in the scale of whole world is the Orava Forest Railway with 760mm gauge, capable of overcoming the rugged terrain thanks to switchbacks. Good reason for visiting our expositions are also very special events.
